Annual Flower Sale...
Our Troop’s Spring Flower Sale is our biggest fund raiser. Flowers are perishable and non-stackable, so
delivery is difficult; but we make a very good profit for our labors since I buy at wholesale and we sell at retail.
We offer many varieties of flowers in flats for $15.00 each. We also have pots and hanging baskets.
You and your sons receive both Indirect and Direct benefits: Indirect in that we have funds for equipment; direct
in that 10% of your son’s dollar total will be applied to his summer camp or other long-term camping fee (such as
Philmont.) As an example, if he sells 100 flats of flowers, he will pay for summer camp. We hope every Scout
can sell at least 20 flats of flowers.
If we sell as many flats as in recent years (over 1500 in 2006), delivery will be split up over several days to
make things easier for us. If you sell the most in your delivery area, you will get
delivery to your driveway. The Flower Chairperson will let your Scout know the date, time and location for his delivery or pick-up.
Kick-Off
Folders will be handed out at the February 25th meeting. This folder will include flyers, order forms and color photographs to help customers select their choices. All forms need to be returned along with payment by April 7th.

- Flower Sale Dates: February 25th until April 7th.
- Final Day to turn in Orders: Monday, April 7th.
- Primary Delivery Day: Saturday, May 3rd. Woodcreek Pool 7 a.m
